First Treatment Visit
If you are a new patient to Olive Tree Dental, a new patient exam is carried out first to ensure you are dentally fit for the treatment. Decay, infections, or gum disease will need to be treated before cosmetic dental treatment, such as Veneers.
A comprehensive assessment is then undertaken. Digital scans and X-rays are taken to obtain measurements of your teeth and assess how best to proceed. Photos can be taken using a camera or our intra-oral camera to ensure we capture those before and after images, so we can monitor the progress of the treatment when complete and see actual results.

We will closely study your smile and the elements that make it unique to you so that we can gain valuable insight that will allow us to successfully plan your smile design. Treatment (2nd appointment)
Tooth Preparation: A thin layer of enamel is removed to ensure a perfect fit.
Custom Veneer Fabrication: Using digital scans that take precise measurements, we craft veneers that match your teeth’s natural appearance. Mock-ups can be used to ensure you are comfortable with the appearance, feel & fit of the Veneers before they are bonded securely.
Treatment (3rd appointment) Bonding and Final Touches: Veneers are bonded securely, and minor adjustments are made for a flawless finish.
Aftercare
Resume regular brushing & oral hygiene tips as recommended by your dentist. It can be tempting with Veneers to skip your daily brushing & flossing it is important not to.
While veneers are durable, they may require replacement after 10–15 years depending on after-care and how well you have maintained the recommended oral health & hygiene habits long term. In certain cases, a mouth guard might be suggested to prolong the longevity of your veneers.
