Comprehensive Consultation (First visit)
We will need to review your medical history before treatment can be considered, as you may not be suitable if you are undergoing certain treatments. During your consultation, we will assess the condition of your skin and select which facial is most appropriate for your skin concerns. A tailored skin care treatment plan is then created, as skincare treatments often need frequency to see lasting results.

Aftercare
You may experience a slight burning sensation following deeper peels for about 3-7 days. Using a cool compress can help to ease the stinging. You may also notice some cracking of the exfoliated skin layer. However, once this is gone, you will be left with a beautiful layer of fresh and healthy-looking skin. We recommend wearing SPF 50 in the days after your peel, especially after more potent retinol-based peels, as they will render your skin more sensitive to sun damage.

You will notice a marked difference to the condition of your skin immediately after treatment. However, treatment is progressive, so you can expect to see the full results manifest after a period of weeks. We recommend a course of 3-6 treatments, depending on your skin concerns.
No. You can return to work and your normal routine right after treatment. Whilst you may experience some mild redness, you will not experience any invasive side effect, making a Jan Marini facial an excellent choice of skin enhancing and resurfacing treatment for anyone looking to beautify their complexion.
If you are about to travel or spend a lot of time in the sun, we would always recommend you advise your facial aesthetics practitioner prior to your appointment, some treatments may be best administered after sun exposure. We would recommend medi-grade creams that include a minimum of SPF 15, to incorporate within your daily skincare routine, however you will be provided with more information in your skincare treatment plan.
