Our patients thankfully recognise that regular visits to the dentist and a hygienist are vital for maintaining healthy oral hygiene, and many prefer to have their routine care delivered through one of our affordable membership plans.
We have tried to make them affordable, as we believe everyone deserves access to good oral health & hygiene. Below are our membership terms and conditions to ensure both transparency and clarity prior to our patients signing up for our various plans. We recommend you read this section carefully.
First check-up (new patient exam) and hygiene to be paid in full before being able to take advantage of membership benefits. Member has to be deemed dentally fit prior to being on a membership plan. The Dentist will recommend which plan is best suited for the patient based on their individual needs.
* The membership fee is paid for a month in advance, in addition to an additional administration fee, which is applicable for the first month only.
* Payments are deducted on the 8th of each month, and this date, unfortunately, cannot be changed due to the way the account is set up for all our members.
* Patients on a membership plan can take advantage of benefits, i.e. 10% discount on subsequent treatments after the 3rd direct debit is taken (3 months into their membership plan), provided they are found eligible for membership.
* A 10% discount will only be applied to treatments after the initial examination & hygiene have been completed and the patient has decided to sign up for an Olive Tree Dental Membership plan and is found eligible. The patient must be on the plan for 3 months before benefiting from the 10% discount.
* Members should be advised that this is a 12-month membership plan to maintain healthy oral hygiene, and this membership plan is not to be cancelled post-treatment completion. Monthly payments should be continued until the 12-month term has been completed.
* Hygiene appointments or other complimentary perks can be booked after being on a membership plan for an initial 3 months.
* Outstanding treatments that are generated from the first check-up need to be completed within 6 months.
**£50 / £100 off treatment can be used in conjunction with a 10% off treatment offer when relevant to a non-complex case and not during peak periods.*** T&Cs apply.
* All members have access to the Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme. Olive Tree Dental reserves the right to provide accurate clinical reports/invoices based on comprehensive patient examinations when required by the Worldwide Dental Assistance Emergency Scheme team. By submitting a claim, you consent to this taking place.
* The Worldwide Dental Emergency Assistance Scheme has been set up to offer discretionary support and assistance to Olive Tree Dental Plan patients who request treatment following a Dental Trauma and/or dental emergency or diagnosis of Oral Cancer.
Providing you are part of one of our membership plans, you will have the opportunity to claim back certain treatment costs, provided it has been in dental trauma and/or dental emergency or diagnosis of oral cancer.
The Scheme is a wholly discretionary scheme, not an insured scheme. It is funded by our Dental Plan Administrator to pay Benefits at the sole and absolute discretion of the Scheme Manager, so if you are unsure about what treatments are covered, please ask a member of our team prior to undergoing the required treatment.
Please refer to the Worldwide Dental Scheme handbook for detailed information about treatments that could be covered. It is quite a comprehensive list, and this definitely adds value to becoming part of one of our membership plans. If you have any further queries, please get in touch with a member of our team who will gladly explain things further.
Corporate membership offers are only applicable to offices in Green Park or in and around Reading, Berkshire, when there are 10 + employees registered from the same company. Wherever possible, corporate members will be given priority early morning or after working hours appointments, but during peak periods, this may not be possible.
Upon signing up for membership, patients agree to the following;
As a practice member, you may be entitled to discounted fees on treatments received at the practice. However, the practice reserves the right, should you cancel your membership within the first 12 months of joining, to reclaim the amount of discount you received during your membership to ensure neither party has been unfairly disadvantaged.
Therefore, the practice reserves the right to reclaim the full amount of any discount applied. All monies owing will become due immediately following the cancellation of the Plan. Any credits applied to the account up until this point will become void, as the cancellation will be deemed a breach of our membership terms & conditions.
Members also need to respectfully adhere to the practice appointment cancellation policy in the same way non-members do, contacting the practice 48 hours prior to any booked appointment in order to avoid incurring any cancellation fees.
